The National Anthem of Ukraine was played for the first time at the GTC Championship!

On the weekend of July 29-30, the fourth stage of the GTC (Gran Turismo Cup) championship was held at the Oschersleben track in Germany, which was marked by the victory of Ivan Peklin in the GT4 class.

Due to the specifics of the track and very changeable weather, the weekend seemed quite difficult. There were an incredible number of crashes, red flags, and safety cars throughout the three days. Such a failure did not escape Ivan's team either, because in the 1-hour race before the change of pilots, there was a crash. Because of this, the car was badly damaged and did not finish, despite the fact that Ivan and his partner had a fairly high chance of a podium, because in qualifying Ivan chose the fourth starting position in the class.

Mechanics and engineers worked through the night to repair the damage and prepare the Audi R8 LMS for the next two races. And already on Sunday morning, Ivan won the GT4 class with this car!

During the start, Ivan deftly overtook two of his opponents, taking first place, which he defended professionally throughout the race. It was the first time that the National Anthem of Ukraine was played at the GTC German Championship.
